Meet The Team

Dr. Fawcett is our founding neurologist. He completed his medical school and Adult Neurology residency at the University of Toronto. He completed fellowship training in stroke neurology and neuro-intervention at McMaster University. He is a member of the American Headache Society.

Dr. Monica Maher is a board-certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Headache Medicine. She completed all of her training at the University of Toronto. Her areas of interest are headache, headache management in pregnancy and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias (ex. cluster headache, paroxysmal hemocrania). Dr. Maher is trained in Botox and nerve blocks for headache. She joined Danforth Neurology in 2024.

Dr. Velina Tzankova is an Adult Neurologist with fellowship training in Headache Medicine. She completed her medical school at Queen’s University, and her Adult Neurology residency and fellowship at the University of Toronto. Dr. Tzankova is trained in Botox and nerve blocks for headache. She joined Danforth Neurology in 2024.

Olga is a medical office administrator who joined the clinic in 2023.

Aumber is a medical office administrator who joined the clinic in 2024.
